Pain of Loss
- Are you struggling to come to terms with the loss of someone close to you?
- Are you finding it hard to keep going on your own?
- Is it impossible to imagine ever being happy again?
Accepting that someone you love has died can be almost unbearable because you don’t know how to begin filling the huge hole they have left in your life. You could be filled with so many emotions from blame to anger or even relief and not know what to do with them.
Why attend the Pain of Loss workshop?
Everybody attending the workshop will be in a similar situation to yourself, so as a group, you will be able to share your feelings and experiences and support each other through the grieving process. What some people attending this workshop have said is that they have made new friends that have enabled them, to some extent, to start filling that void.
What will I learn from the workshop?
You will gain an understanding of the different stages of grief and why it is important to allow yourself to go with the flow of experiencing grief as opposed to bottling up your emotions, with the resulting destructive outcome.
How will the workshop help me?
You will be supported and listened to as well as having the opportunity to listen to others
What if I don't attend?
People who attend build skills for coping with loss.
